2025-01-14 11:15am CUCFF (online), Figueira da Foz
Sinopse
This project was a four-stage course for non-music major undergraduates that involved libretto rewriting, creative composition, instrumental design, and theatrical performance. Generative AI (GenAI) enhanced each phase, allowing non-expert students to engage directly with their creativity and explore unfamiliar disciplines. The talk will delve into the pedagogical challenges and opportunities and the ethical implications of using AI when working with others' intellectual property.
Structure:
- 45-minute Presentation: Overview of the One-Minute-Operas project and its results.
- 45-minute Hands-on Activity: Participants will create directly on their mobile phones, iPads, or computers, using the Suno GenAI platform for music.
